I am the author of The Grimstones — a junior fiction book series featuring my family of handmade gothic puppets.
Nothing gives me more pleasure than making things — I paint, print, stitch, journal, write and play with metal. You can buy my books, zines and artworks in my shop, and I accept commissions, so feel free to ask me to make something just for you.
Most days I post what I've been making on Facebook — if you want to connect with me in cyberspace or are looking for creative inspiration, that's the place to go.
You can also check out my blog which is full of my creations, research, and my journal to live sustainably. I live in a small mudbrick eco-house on an urban farm in Melbourne, where I grow vegetables and raise livestock.
The book I'm currently working on, Future Girl, will be the art journal of the main character, who is deaf. I've received funding from Australia Council to develop the artwork and hope the book will be released some time in 2016.
I am teaching a free online course in Auslan (Australian sign language). Learn basic signs in bite-sized lessons of around ten signs each.
